Clario Inc. (“Clario,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a software platform that utilizes file metadata to help organizations understand, clean, and manage the files stored across their cloud and on-premises file storage systems (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information in connection with our website at ClarioClean.com (the “Site”). 

This Policy applies to visitors, prospective customers, job applicants (unless a separate applicant notice applies), and anyone else who interacts with us through the Site.

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Contact and demo request forms: name, business email address, company name, job title, and any message you include
  • Newsletter or communications sign-ups: name and email address
  • Job applications, if submitted through the Site: name, contact information, and application materials

  • Standard technical and log data, such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and pages visited
  • Essential cookies needed for the Site to function properly
  • Clario utilizes Google Analytics, a third-party analytics service, to help us understand how visitors use the Site (e.g., pages viewed, session duration, referral source). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information, which may be transmitted to and processed by Google. Clario does not sell personal information, and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We may disclose Site visitor information to:

  • Legal and safety reasons: where required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Clario or others.

4. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

As a California-headquartered company, Clario complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”). If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and how it has been used and disclosed
  • Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Clario does not sell or share personal information, so no action is needed to opt out
  • Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights

5. International Visitors

Clario's operations and infrastructure are based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States. We aim to handle Site visitor information consistent with core data protection principles. These include collecting only what is needed and being transparent about our practices regardless of a visitor’s location.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy on the Site with a revised “Last Revision” date.
